Position: Supply Chain Manager Location: Logan Company: Martin & Pleasance (M&P) is a natural health and well-being company.
Our manufacturing plant is based in Logan and our head office is in Port Melbourne, Victoria.

Our products are distributed in grocery, pharmacies, and health food stores throughout Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities: Supply Chain Strategy and Management: Identify and implement best practices for supply chain management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
Inventory Management: Ensure optimal stock levels to minimize waste and work with the sales team to forecast demand.
Logistics and Distribution: Ensure timely and accurate delivery and improve efficiencies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, monitor QA processes, and conduct regular audits.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify improvements, and report on findings.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead by example and create a positive and high-performing culture within the team.
Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA or relevant certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience in vendor and supplier management, contract negotiation, and logistics.
Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage a supply chain function split between Logan and Melbourne.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks.
Effective communication with a variety of internal and external stakeholders by email, phone, and face-to-face.
Proactive and self-motivated.
The capacity to interpret data for informed decision-making.
A desire to create value, decrease problems, and solve consistent issues with supply, planning, inventory control, and operations.
