We are looking for a Leading Storeperson to join our warehouse team, based in our Mount Wellington site in Auckland.
You will work alongside our Supply Chain Manager, collaborating with our Leading Technician to plan and coordinate the daily work plans and resources across our Warehouse and Technician functions, ensuring that our work is organised, and the workforce is optimised from receipting of goods to us through to dispatch and delivery to our customers.
Our teams work cross-functionally, and we recognise that the work that we do is a result of our collective effort which means that this is a role where you will need to be able to take the lead in coordinating while still working hands-on.
The role is varied, covering receiving, handling, and dispatching of goods within the warehouse with a focus on service, delivery, and accuracy.
About you You'll be an experienced or Senior Storeperson who enjoys working in a busy environment.
No two days will be the same, you will need to be flexible in your approach with the ability to switch your priorities to meet the demands of each day.
Communication and collaboration will be the key to your success, and you will embrace this in each interaction that you have, with all teams across the organisation.
You will: Be a self starter Have strong knowledge and experience working in a warehouse environment Hold a current forklift licence and have experience operating a counterbalance and reach Have a full clean Class 2 Drivers Licence Be able to organise and plan work for not only yourself but others If you are an MPI accredited person, this will be an advantage however we will consider applications from candidates who do not hold this certificate.
