Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time The Supply Chain and Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for end-to-end Tauranga DC site supply chain, logistics, and dispatch operations, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, production, operations, and sales team members. The role includes a level of strategic responsibility and comes with the opportunity for quick promotion within the company for the right candidate. Suitable candidates must have the following capability: Ability to jump into the grunt work (load pallets) in addition to negotiate large supply agreements with our international suppliers including negotiating with international 3PL's and other providers. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven management and communication skills (Working with all levels of team members). Strong interdependence and problem-solving capability. Strong attention to detail - particularly inventory spreadsheets and calendar schedules. Primary daily responsibilities: Inventory control, management, and forecasting. Domestic logistics, working with NZ couriers and freight companies. International import/export logistics working with freight agents and offshore suppliers. Daily dispatch management for online, wholesale, and export stock movement. Management and oversight of pic/pack, dispatch, and operations team members. Strategic ongoing responsibilities: Dispatch site efficiency review and enhancement. Freight rate review for courier and international freight. Inventory management technology review and improvement as needed. Work within budgets to manage YOY cost improvements and identify consistent cost savings. Continually identify areas for cost savings and efficiency across the full Newton DC site operations. Entry to mid-level experience in an operations, supply chain, logistics area - ideally within FMCG or Food Service sector. Experience with high growth early stage businesses, or delivery rapid new market entry projects. Domestic logistics experience working with NZ couriers and freight companies. International import/export logistics working with logistics agents and offshore suppliers. Financial management, budgeting, demand forecasting. Understanding of import/export process. Technical IT capability requirements: Inventory management in Microsoft Excel and/or Unleashed ERP, or other inventory management systems. Financial management in Xero for invoicing, export CI/PS documentation. Shopify dispatch and fulfillment, and inventory control and link to courier systems (Post Haste/ NZ Couriers).
