Supply Chain Coordinator - Fixed Term

Details of the offer

Southern Cross Healthcare – Queenstown, South Island
This opportunity will allow you to work in a new, vibrant, growing hospital that is based in arguably one of the most stunning locations in New Zealand along with its incredible lifestyle.
Southern Cross Central Lakes Hospital (SCCLH) received its first patients in January 2022, and has steadily developed a broad range of specialty surgery covering both private and public patients. The joint venture ownership between Southern Cross Healthcare and Central Lakes Trust ensures leading clinical service delivery whilst maintaining a genuine focus to provide healthcare services to the general population across broader Central Otago.
The purpose of this role is to complete tasks required that support the onsite Supply Chain Management processes within the hospital. The role is responsible for activities including the inbound process for product ordered, the storage, movement & management of inventory held.
This is a hands-on role requiring effective communication skills and a positive attitude, working with a great team! Our focus is on continuous improvement across the business and Supply Chain.
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE (40hrs per week) fixed term position for an initial period of 9 months. As this fixed term agreement is to cover a period of maternity leave, this agreement may be extended for a further three months, following the initial 9-month period.
Responsibilities: Manage the inbound process for products ordered.
Oversee the storage, movement, and management of inventory.
Qualifications: Ideally 2-5 years' experience in a supply chain/inventory management role.
Proficient in MS Office and experience with ERP.
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Self-motivated, dependable, and well organized.
Demonstrated experience of building strong relationships and customer service with both internal and external parties.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Background in healthcare would be an advantage.
As an organisation, we are committed to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing a culturally safe environment that demonstrates manaakitanga and embraces the unique perspectives and experiences of our people.
We aspire to have a workforce that reflects the diversity of Aotearoa New Zealand and welcome applications from people of all communities and backgrounds.
If you are passionate about being part of a team delivering meaningful health outcomes to the Central Otago region and beyond, apply today!
