About the Role The Global Supply Chain team is responsible for supplying products to our customers right across the globe and this role forms a key part of the Global Supply Chain team. You will use data and insights to identify opportunities for change and optimize our processes throughout the value chain. Our Supply Chain Analysts support the business across the full spectrum, from raw material purchases through to delivery to our international customers. As a key member of the analytics team, you will be focused on supporting the team with analytics and scalable reporting solutions. You will be dedicated to analytics project work that may involve improving performance measures or opportunities to improve margin. About You We are looking for someone who has a background in supply chain, is analytical, has strong project management skills, and is wanting to work on strategic projects with both quantitative and qualitative factors. You would have a strategic, logical, and creative mindset and be able to work in a team environment. As you will be working with senior stakeholders, your ability to present, communicate, and engage will be critical. You will love: Puzzles and think that every question has a perfect answer. Languages like SQL and VBA. Big chunky problems with no clear solution or direction and are willing to strive on your own or work with a team to find that solution. Ambiguity with opportunities to creatively problem-solve and autonomy to truly think outside the box. New challenges and difficult problems and new ways of thinking. Opportunities to optimize and minimize your work. We use Microsoft products like Excel and Power BI for investigation and other specialist tools or more embedded organizational software like SQL Server when required. You would be an expert in these Microsoft tools to enable the team but also open to learning and initiating how to apply the best data tools available. Analytics is going through a lot of exciting changes, and you should be the type of person who is aware of that and wants to take advantage and be constantly learning. The Following Skills & Experience Are Preferred: Tertiary qualification (Supply Chain, Business or Engineering, Statistics, Analytics). Tools and Technical preference (SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Python, R). 4+ years of experience in an analytical role.
