We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Auckland.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies.
Maintain optimal stock levels and manage inventory using MS Office and Reckon Software.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Process orders from the Foodstuffs Portal and manage daily dispatch and delivery operations.
Monitor and review storage and inventory systems to ensure compliance with supply requirements.
Assist with shipment container unloading and related documentation.
Handle MPI documentation and manage samples.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a tidy and safe work environment.
Collaborate with various departments and lead staff performance initiatives.
Prepare regular reports for management on inventory levels, logistics performance, and operational issues.
Provide solutions to operational challenges and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (or minimum 5 years of relevant experience).
Proficiency in MS Office, SAP or Reckon Software preferred.
Ability to operate a Reach Fork hoist & preferably hold a current Forklift License.
A good level of physical fitness with some heavy lifting up to 25 kg.
Good understanding of Warehouse health and safety requirements.
Knowledge of MPI documentation would be an asset.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Type: Full time employment (32+ hours per week)
Wage Rate: NZD 29.66 to 33.00 per hour (based on experience)
