Overview:
The Supply and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution of all goods and supplies. This role ensures that products are delivered to clients in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Supply Chain Management:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
2. Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness.
3. Logistics and Distribution:
• Coordinate and oversee the logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery.
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs, ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
4. Quality Control:
• Ensure all food supplies and ingredients meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the supply chain.
5. Customer Service:
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to understand client needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to supply and distribution promptly and effectively.
6. Budgeting and Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics, including cost of goods sold, transportation costs, and inventory turnover.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; or
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain/procurement management, logistics, or distribution, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Gaurenteed work hours : 30 a week
