As a Superwide Digital Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining wide-format digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. Your role will include:
Setting, adjusting, and monitoring substrate feed mechanisms, delivery mechanisms, inking systems, and other printing machine functions. Evaluating print quality against proofs and detecting malfunctions. Loading print media onto media feed mechanisms and troubleshooting issues during print runs. Performing routine maintenance on print equipment and keeping machines in optimal condition. Operating cutting and finishing equipment such as the Zund digital cutter or performing manual trimming where necessary. Key Responsibilities :
Record print data and ensure all jobs are completed according to the production schedule. Minimize material wastage by identifying substandard prints early in the process. Communicate effectively with the print team and supervisors to ensure smooth operations across shifts. Perform daily machine checks, report any issues with print head nozzles, and complete all routine maintenance tasks. Skills and Experience Required: A minimum of 3 years' experience in operating superwide digital printers (e.g., HP Latex L3000, HP R2000, Dilli NeoTitan, HP Stitch S1000 Dye Sublimation and heat press). Strong understanding of print production processes, including colour matching and media handling. Familiarity with print software such as Caldera RIP. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and collaborative skills. Working Hours : 40 hours per week (7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday)
Overtime : Additional hours may be offered, with overtime paid at $36-38 per hour
