DUNCAN SOUTH LTDFURTHER PROCESSING SUPERVISOR/TEAM LEADERDuncan South Ltd (DSL) is an export Venison Processor based on the outskirts of Dunedin in the small community of Mosgiel. An opportunity has arisen for a suitable person to take up the role of supervisor/team leader in our Further Processing operation. The objective of this role is to provide effective supervision and leadership for our Further Processing (Boning Room) team. This role's focus will be on ensuring the production of high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment. This is a permanent full-time position, predominately Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday during the peak of our season. The ideal candidate will be proactive and organised. They will have a hands-on approach and work with their team to ensure the daily requirements are delivered. Previous experience in a meat processing environment is an advantage, but not essential.Duties and responsibilities will include the following:Management of daily boning operations carried out in a safe, efficient manner in line with our Health and Safety policy and meeting our customer specifications.Ensure all processes, policies, regulations, and requirements are adhered to.Experience with raising Eds and cutting plans would be an advantage, but training is available.Provide relevant reports and commentary to management as requested.Staff development is a key part of our culture.
