Supervisor - Pukekohe

We have a rare opportunity available at our Pukekohe Refuse Transfer Station (RTS) for an experienced, yet hands-on Supervisor to join the team.As a Supervisor, you will:Oversee the day-to-day organisation, supervision and control of the on-site regarding machine use, daily VCR checks, customers and staffing requirements.Actively lead & direct the team on a daily basis - this includes Machine Operators, Labourers & Weighbridge Operator.Build & continue to drive a positive team culture.Be hands on, which means you will also be required to operate machinery from time to time.Champion health & safety for all employees, visitors and contractors on site at all times.While we are looking for previous supervisory experience, this could be a perfect role for a current leading hand/supervisor looking at progressing in their career.What we're looking for:Someone that holds a Class 1 licence with W,T & F endorsements.2+ years' Supervisory/Foreman experience and success leading a team (or positive attitude with passion for growing your career).Previous heavy machine operation experience - i.e. excavators & loaders would be an advantage.Someone who can encourage and motivate the team of Machine Operators & Labourers.Enviro NZ is focused on making it easier for New Zealanders to shift to a more sustainable way of life.
