You should be prepared to take a hands-on approach and encourage your team members' active involvement in workplace improvements.If you believe you have these qualities and are eager to advance your career with Ample Group Ltd, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Communicate food safety, quality, and compliance requirements specific to your team, and actively monitor these standards.Train and coach team members to understand specifications and production targets as they relate to their roles.Organize daily production needs in coordination with your manager and effectively communicate these to your team.Lead your team in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), identifying and resolving issues promptly.Foster a Health and Safety culture, encouraging positive behaviours within the team.Identify and report risks and hazards using appropriate tools and processes.Assess training needs and ensure timely training is provided.Facilitate cross-training and job rotation within the department.Exemplify company values and hold team members accountable for their actions.Utilise Lean Manufacturing techniques to address issues efficiently.Focus on timely delivery to customers.Ensure labour requirements are met to achieve daily production schedules.What You Will Bring:3-5 years of leadership experience (preferably in the food industry) in a production environment.Knowledge of production compliance, HR, quality, food safety, animal welfare, RMP, EHS, and continuous improvement principles.Experience in building and leading teams, with the ability to influence others.Decision-making capabilities within authority limits, escalating issues as necessary.Skill in balancing conflicting priorities and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook.Capability to interpret and utilize relevant reports and data.As a Supervisor at our Processing site in Stratford, you will play a crucial role in supporting your team on the floor to meet daily production goals while ensuring quality and safety compliance. With the backing of the leadership team, you'll have opportunities to drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop your career further. This position is for Day Shift, with availability generally required Monday to Friday for a minimum of 45 hours per week.
