Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations within the cold storage facilityEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsManage, train, and develop staff to meet performance and safety standardsUtilize warehouse management systems effectivelyMaintaining a clean and tidy warehouseMaintaining a positive work environmentAccurately picking and loading chilled & frozen products on time and in full for our daily outbound trucksDaily allocation of work tasks and staffing requirementsEnsuring all freight goes to the correct destination and is in perfect conditionProactively solve challenges and adapt to changing situationsHealth and Safety guidelines and compliance are maintained, and any incidents are reportedPreferred experience/skills:1+ year proven leadership experience within the chilled and frozen transport industry3+ years experience working in both chilled and frozen environmentsStrong knowledge and understanding of MPI and NZTA regulationsProven experience in training new and existing staff membersExcellent command of the English language both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office/WMS/email etcFlexible about learning new task and skillsQualifications:Proven experience in a cold storage or warehousing environmentStrong knowledge of warehouse management systemsHealth and safety conscious with a proactive approachWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly rate based on experienceOpportunity for permanent employmentA dynamic work environment with a dedicated teamIf you are a motivated individual with the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply!
