Supervisor - Cold Stores

Team Leaders/Supervisors (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations within the cold storage facility Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Manage, train, and develop staff to meet performance and safety standards Utilize warehouse management systems effectively Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse Maintain a positive work environment Accurately pick and load chilled & frozen products on time and in full for our daily outbound trucks Daily allocation of work tasks and staffing requirements Ensure all freight goes to the correct destination and is in perfect condition Proactively solve challenges and adapt to changing situations Maintain health and safety guidelines and compliance, and report any incidents Preferred Experience/Skills: 1+ year proven leadership experience within the chilled and frozen transport industry 3+ years experience working in both chilled and frozen environments Strong knowledge and understanding of MPI and NZTA regulations Proven experience in training new and existing staff members Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office/WMS/email etc. Flexible about learning new tasks and skills Qualifications: Proven experience in a cold storage or warehousing environment Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems Health and safety conscious with a proactive approach What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunity for permanent employment A dynamic work environment with a dedicated team If you are a motivated individual with the required experience and skills, we encourage you to apply! #J-18808-Ljbffr
