Supermarket Assistant

New World Hastings is a large format Supermarket in Hawkes Bay. We are locally owned and operated and part of the Foodstuffs North Island Cooperative. New World Hastings services over 20,000 customers weekly with a full range of groceries. Our customer promises are Fair Value, Inspiring Solutions and Awesome Experience.

We have an exciting Full-Time opportunity at New World Hastings as a Supermarket Assistant.

If you have the right can-do attitude, then we can provide the necessary training for you to kick start your career.

Key Requirements for the role include:

A "can do" attitude.

Physically fit able to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Able to work unsupervised.

Ability to work well with the team.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Proven customer service skills.

FMCG, fresh food or food retail experience preferred but not essential.
