Summerfruit Graders

About the role Camelot Fresh Fruit Co. is seeking enthusiastic Summerfruit and pipfruit graders to join our team in Hastings Central Hawkes Bay. This is a casual position, perfect for those looking for flexible work 5-6 days per week during the busy summer season. Season runs approximately late November till end of March  What you'll be doing Carefully inspecting and grading summerfruit (such as peaches, nectarines and plums) and apples based on size, colour, ripeness and qualitySorting fruit into different grades and packing them for distributionMaintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the grading processAdhering to all relevant health and safety policies and proceduresSupporting the wider production team as neededWhat we're looking for Previous experience in a similar fruit grading or production role, preferably in the horticulture industryreliable attendance Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accuratelyGood communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and qualityThe physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksWhat we offer Competitive hourly ratesOpportunities to learn new skills A friendly, supportive team environmentAbout us Camelot Fresh Fruit Co. is a leading producer and packer of high-quality summerfruit in New Zealand.
