We are seeking a n Outdoor Lead with a fun-loving personality and an affinity for operating machinery safely who can multi-task and lead a team with a smile on their face.

This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Summer Operations Manager .
About the role Assist the Summer Ops Manager in the smooth safe operation of lifts and outdoor operations Multi-task, problem solve and work well under pressure Actively work in the operation - assisting guests on and off chairlifts safely, checking passes, managing queues, operating lift machinery, assisting with car park duties Perform pre-start checks and shutdown of the lift Work with maintenance to ensure lift is working correctly End of day cleaning and pack down Motivate and develop the staff to embrace leadership About You You will lead and develop the team, ensuring that safe, fun and world-class service is delivered for both our staff and our guests You will bring strong organisational skills paired with a practical and innovative approach to problem solving and task management.
Proven ability to work under pressure in a team environment High levels of energy and the ability to quickly build a rapport with all guests and staff, coupled with strong leadership skills Health & safety conscious and a good record in this area Comfortable working outside in variable conditions, and available for early shifts as required Ideally h ave a high interest or be an active mountain biker B e keen in developing new skills as our team members will be working across several tasks and be willing to ass ist in other departments and take on additio nal duties as required .
