Come and work for Downer as a Substation Maintainer/Switcher utilising your Electrical Fitter qualification and experience. You will be involved in electrical fitting services including construction, maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of network equipment and installations. This role is based in Stratford, Taranaki.
Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills
Relevant Electrical registration with practising licence.
NZQA level 4 Transmission certificate is essential.
Current Full NZ Drivers licence (HT would be beneficial).
Substation equipment knowledge (High Voltage) and maintenance skills.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
Physical stamina to carry out manual work.
Strong adherence to H&S Policies and procedures.
Computer literacy, accurate record keeping, and reporting.
Able to work away from home as required.
Available for rostered standby.
