StudyLink Officer Outreach - Taranaki Region based in New Plymouth New Zealand Government – New Plymouth, North Island Education is a pathway to employment - "learn to earn".
As a StudyLink Officer, you have an important role to play.
You will engage and support a range of people with various backgrounds, ages, and situations, providing them with assistance, tools, and support to access our services.
Every action you take impacts New Zealanders' lives.
Our team is responsible for delivering an end-to-end service that incorporates the assessment, processing, and review of client information and applications.
You will need to show empathy and understanding to help clients navigate and resolve often complex situations and queries.
Our aim is to ensure that every client feels respected, listened to, and understood.
The whanau we serve come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
You will create a safe environment for people to explore options and determine what's most important to them.
You will empower whanau to take the lead in developing and achieving their goals.

You will need to develop and maintain relationships with your peers and partner agencies to give and receive support when needed.
You will be exceptionally organised, with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Please note - this position requires travel across the Taranaki Region; therefore, a full driver's licence is essential.
