We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations of Sala.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing fitness studios, with specific expertise in reformer Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and sauna maintenance.
This role requires an individual with a proven track record of managing front-of-house operations, instructor scheduling, and customer service platforms.
Sala's operational environment is unique and the candidate must have the ability to seamlessly integrate into our team.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of Sala, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.Manage and maintain the studio's facilities, including Pilates reformers, HIIT equipment, and sauna.Coordinate and schedule classes, ensuring optimal instructor availability and class coverage.Lead front-of-house operations, including reception, customer service, and client relations.Utilize Codex-Fit and HelpScout for client management, booking, and scheduling.Monitor and enhance the customer experience, addressing feedback and implementing improvements.Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.Train and supervise new staff members, fostering a supportive and professional environment.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.Be available to come in on call for emergencies.May teach classesQualifications & Experience RequiredExtensive training in reformer Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and general fitnessProven experience in sauna maintenanceMinimum of 3 years practicing fitnessDemonstrated management experience in a fitness studio settingProficiency with Studio Management software and Email ticketing softwareStrong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Work in studio for all working hours, and be on call / available for emergencies.Preferred SkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns.Familiarity with the Auckland fitness market and client preferences.Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per yearSchedule:40 hours per week minimum8 hour shift flexible between 6am and 8pmMonday to Friday for regular hoursOn call during Sala opening hours, including weekendsAbility to commute/relocate:Ponsonby, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Team Management: 6 months (Required)Fitness industry: 3 years (Required)Application Process:To apply, please submit your resume detailing your qualifications and experience as they relate to the key responsibilities and qualifications outlined above.Application Deadline: 12/09/2024 Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a Studio Manager?
