Part-Time 18.75 hours per week (0.5 FTE)Continuing (permanent) positionGenerous annual leave provisions and professional development opportunitiesAu Mahi | What You Will DoThe Student Experience Administrator plays a crucial role in facilitating the development, delivery, and administration of cohort-specific transition and engagement programs and events, which are designed to support students' seamless integration into and progression through university life.Transition and engagement projects and events will optimise students' personal, social, extra-curricular and academic experiences in the UC Business School. By doing so, they aim to elevate their overall development, foster their perseverance, and pave the way for their triumph at UC.Mou | Who You AreTo be successful in this role you will have a minimum 3 years previous experience working in a tertiary institute or schooling environment in a related role and:Previous experience planning and delivering student experience or transition programmes and events in a tertiary setting.Proven ability to plan, deliver, monitor, review and report on projects, including budgets and health and safety.Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills with ability to engage with people of diverse ages, genders, cultures and languages, and socio-economic contexts.A Bachelor's Degree (NZQA Level 7) in a commerce related discipline is desirable, but not essential.Full Drivers' Licence.Active commitment to upholding the values, tikanga (protocols and processes), kawa (rules) of cultural practice and traditions as guided by mana whenua, Ngai Tuahuriri, and valuing te reo Maori.Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work WithUC's Business School enjoys a well-deserved reputation domestically and internationally for excellence in teaching, high quality writing and research as well as for producing outstanding graduates.
