This consultancy is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their company as an early team lead. This consultancy specializes in Land Development, Structural, and Transportation and is located in the City Centre of Auckland, New Zealand.In this role, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, guide and mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in shaping the future of our team.About the RoleAs a team lead you'll be responsible for leading projects from start to finish and providing technical guidance to junior engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:Design and analysis: You'll be responsible for conducting structural analysis and design for various building projects.Project management: You'll oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.Mentorship: You'll be expected to guide and mentor junior engineers, helping them develop their technical and professional skills.Client liaison: You'll be the main point of contact for clients and will be responsible for ensuring their needs are met.Code compliance: You'll need to be familiar with building codes and standards, and ensure that projects comply with all relevant regulations.The role requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent leadership and communication abilities.
