Structural Engineering Manager

Here is an exciting prospect for a Senior Structural Engineer who is looking for their next step that potentially isn't on offer within their current firm. Technically, you need to be competent but being able to get the best out of a team of Engineers is equally as important. The project portfolio would mainly be commercial and industrial so some NZ experience in this area is essential.

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:
Significant relevant experience within the NZ consultancy environmentBe a Chartered Professional Engineer or if not, to obtain this within the next 12 monthsAbility to lead projects technically and engage with clientsLeadership skills and the ability to empower the teamUnderstand how to manage technical staff and the associated process of running a businessExceptional interpersonal skillsHighly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlinesThis is an exciting position for a well experienced Engineer to become part of a collaborative team environment where everyone gets along extremely well. You will have fantastic scope to really lead and mentor a team of great technical staff.
