Structural Engineer We have a great opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a well-regarded Structural Engineering practice based in Christchurch. They focus on a mixture of small to medium sized residential and commercial projects across the region. Position Overview:  They are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with 2-4 years of local New Zealand design experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small to medium-sized residential projects and be passionate about delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to design and develop structural solutions for residential and commercial buildings. Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with NZ Building Codes and standards. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional service. Assist in the management of project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant design experience in the New Zealand across residential and commercial projects. Familiarity with NZ Building Codes and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in structural design software and tools.
