In this role, you will leverage your expertise to lead engineering projects, mentor junior/intermediate engineers, and contribute to our overall success.Responsibilities:Lead and manage engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to time, budget, and quality standards.Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.Conduct thorough engineering analyses and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to complex problems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and technical staff.Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and proposals.Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional service.Qualifications and skills required:Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) registration with Engineering New Zealand.Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering project management.Strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Proven track record of delivering successful engineering projects.Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations in New Zealand.The ability to prepare and sign off producer statements is required.A background in cold roll steel would be an advantage.NZ residency is required.Why Join Formsteel?An excellent salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.An exciting, fast-growing business with unlimited potential.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Contribute to meaningful projects that impact communities and the environment.If you are ready to take the next step in your engineering career and make a difference, we want to hear from you!
