Structural Engineer - Commercial

Leading multidisciplinary Engineering consultancy, seeking a 5-8 year Structural Engineer to work on high-quality projects as they continue to grow.
The Company: An multidisciplinary consulting firm that provides a range of services in Engineering.
Successfully branched out into Structural Engineering in New Zealand, they have an established team of 7 Structural Engineers based in Auckland, and a BIM Lead are looking to grow this further.
Having recently hired a Structural Manager to open the Christchurch division, we are now looking for the 2nd person to be on the ground here.
Work on a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, data centres, community facilities, and some larger residential developments.
The Role: As an Intermediate to Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis and assessment of various building structures at a larger scale.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects from concept to construction, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, including architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure that designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent At least 5-8 years' experience in a role here in NZ Strong technical skills and a good understanding of relevant codes and standards Proficient in structural analysis software & excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for structural engineering and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to complex problems Benefits: Recognising and valuing the contributions of each team member, they offer a supportive and collaborative work environment that encourages learning, growth and innovation.
