We are on the hunt for an intermediate or senior drafter who is keen to join an agile, tight-knit team. This is a great opportunity to get involved with an extensive variety of exciting projects. About the role This role presents the opportunity to help lead a small team of talented drafters alongside our BIM lead. You would be working collaboratively with an equally talented team of structural engineers. You will be drafting a variety of exciting projects – luxury residential homes, a wide range of commercial builds, heritage buildings, and even structures in the space and tech sector! This sort of variety is hard to come by, but we work hard to procure projects that will keep you and the team challenged and engaged. You will do well in this role if you are proficient in high level 3D modelling. Prior construction knowledge and experience will be advantageous. Although it is not a requirement, if you are interested in being client-facing we can certainly offer that opportunity too. Our junior and intermediate team members will be looking to you for collaboration and guidance, so this role will require a good measure of management and mentoring. As we are a small team it is important that you can still be hands-on with technical work and day-to-day drafting, and have a good grasp on programming to ensure we meet deadlines. About you We are looking for a fantastic communicator, and a team-first person. We are a team of 15 so getting the right fit is important to us. Someone who is proactive, helpful, and who can have a laugh will thrive in our team. As an experienced drafter, it is important that you can work autonomously when needed but can also work collaboratively with the drafting team to deliver high quality drawings to deadline. Communication is key as you will be working closely with your team, our engineers, and our clients. Experience with Revit is a must.
