Due to continued demand for their specialist services, they now require an experienced Intermediate Structural Engineer to join their collaborative, high energy practice. With a focus on high-quality, cost-effective designs and a large number of repeat clients, you will be joining a stable practice with strong prospects for continued growth.
As a Structural Design Engineer, you'll leverage your 3+ years of experience working to AS/NZ standards to take on exciting and impactful projects. Your expertise in seismic design, including Detailed Seismic Assessments (DSA) strengthening and retrofit, will be crucial as you work on medium to large commercial and industrial designs. You'll have the opportunity to utilize advanced software such as ETABS, contributing to innovative and precise structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage structural engineering project teams from preliminary design through to construction monitoring.
Develop high-quality, cost-effective designs that adhere to AS/NZ standards.
Lead and oversee medium to large commercial projects, ensuring they meet all structural and seismic requirements.
Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results and maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in structural engineering to AS/NZ standards with hands-on experience in seismic design on medium to large commercial and industrial projects.
Skills: Proficiency in ETABS and other structural design software.
Leadership: Proven track record in managing projects from concept to completion.
