The team provides high quality services and infrastructure to residents and visitors, managing the district's parks, trails, libraries and recreational facilities, while enabling sustainable development.The RoleLocated in Queenstown and reporting to the Strategy and Infrastructure Planning Manager within QLDC's Property and Infrastructure Directorate, this role is responsible for the district's Three Waters strategy and long-term infrastructure planning.You will lead a highly engaged team in providing planning expertise into Spatial Growth Planning and the 30 Year Infrastructure Strategy, and other strategic planning initiatives such as the Water Services Delivery plan.The role will lead the development of future focused Three Water masterplans and translation of those master plans into prioritised projects. The role will also support the prioritisation of the 3W investment in the Long-Term Plan (LTP) and manage early-stage planning of prioritised 3W initiatives in accordance with the approved LTP.Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have an engineering degree or another relevant tertiary qualification, with proven strategic infrastructure planning and leadership experience.
