About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Strategy Manager to join the team where you will be instrumental in helping shape the future of Innovation by leading strategic initiatives and driving transformational change.
Reporting into GM Innovation Strategy, you will work with senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams and be tasked with addressing important strategic questions to support innovation strategy development and execution. A few areas of focus will be to:
Lead complex strategic initiatives, from understanding and structuring the business issue, developing strategy and supporting execution.Act as a custodian of the strategy ensuring strong alignment between strategic intent and action.Partner with and influence Fonterra's senior innovation leaders to help facilitate and drive strategically important execution workstreams.Your ability to understand complex multi-faceted organisations, strategy and strategy execution will be key to support robust business decisions and implement our long-term strategy.
About you | Ko wai koe In addition to a relevant tertiary qualification, you have a background developing strategy for complex organisations and a well-developed strategic perspective on business decisions. As a specialist, you build influential and trusted relationships and negotiate outcomes with internal and external stakeholders. You have vision and a growth mindset as well as a strong ability to navigate ambiguity, lead strategic projects, challenge and expand on ideas.
You will also need:
Demonstrable experience in strategic development and execution across large complex organisations, gained from a consulting practice e.g. Bain, BCG, McKinsey.Proven ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and persuasively to extract insights and drive action.Strong commercial acumen and exceptional structured, analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; able to produce concise and impactful decks/presentations.Experience in Innovation or R&D would be a bonus.Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?
