The Strategy Associate plays a critical role at One NZ, conducting analysis and generating insights to assist the development of corporate strategy and support important strategic projects such as M&A, infrastructure sharing, partnerships and new business opportunities.
Ko to mahi – what you'll do Develop an understanding of the NZ Telco landscape and One NZ's competitive position within it Conduct competitor benchmarking activities, and communicate insights to the business on a regular basis Develop an understanding of major industry and technology trends, and the implications of these trends for One NZ Conduct analysis of large datasets, and communicate insights to the team and business stakeholders Conduct financial modelling and business casing to understand the impacts of initiatives Support the development of the corporate plan, including developing market sizing and growth assumptions Support important strategic projects including M&A, infrastructure sharing, partnerships and new business opportunities Develop relationships around the business to support information gathering, developing hypotheses, sharing insights and sense-checking recommendations Na tou rourou - what you'll bring 2-4 years experience gained in consulting or other corporate strategy departments Cross business collaboration and relationship building ability Strong research, data gathering and analysis skills Structured problem solving Workplanning, and project experience Strong written and verbal communications Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent qualifications or training One New Zealand is leading the way by ensuring you can have a truly balanced life.
