We have a newly created role for a Strategic Vegetation Manager which would suit a delivery-focused individual with an eye for the future who is able to develop and lead a progressive vegetation management strategy with a small team.
Key Responsibilities Will Include: Strategy & Risk Management: Develop and implement long-term vegetation management strategies that reduce risks and enhance operational efficiency.Collaboration: Partner with internal and external teams to integrate vegetation management into broader infrastructure planning.Compliance & Policies: Establish policies to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with landowners, regulators, and community groups to support vegetation initiatives.Data-Driven Solutions: Leverage technology tools like LiDAR and satellite imagery to monitor vegetation and drive innovation.Budget & Contractor Management: Oversee budgets and contractors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
