Job Description Based in Auckland Base salary + vehicle + commission + benefits The role We are looking for a talented Strategic Sales Specialist to join our amazing and supportive Sales team.
In this role you will be working alongside a team whose focus is to engage with our strategic customers based in the Upper North Island to demonstrate how Waste Management addresses resource recovery challenges along with creating value.
You will manage a portfolio of Waste Management's top strategic customers, working with your customers to craft innovative solutions for Waste and Resource Recovery, meeting and most importantly exceeding your sales targets and optimizing your share of wallet opportunities.
Key accountabilities: Develop, present, and maintain a Strategic Account Management Plan for your accounts Collaborating as part of the team to enable complex customer requirements Ensure your portfolio of customers is secure under contract Build outstanding relationships with your customers, sales and regional teams and stakeholders Lead tender responses Qualifications About you This role is ideal for someone with at least five years' experience in account management with commercial services or large corporate environments.
You're commercially astute, tenacious, sales and solution focused.
You have experience in complex client engagements, including managing, and negotiating contracts.
Along with the above we are also looking for someone with skills and experience in tender management, negotiations, time management underpinned by personal accountability drive and initiative, you have a collaborative work style and a proven sales record.
