The Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company is a manufacturer and marketer of specialist high value dairy-based ingredients and consumer foods. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Strategic Marketing Manager to join our Marketing & Sales team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Tatua's marketing strategy to drive sustainable growth and enhance brand presence. This role is designed for a strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate strategy into action and outcomes. Reporting to the GM Marketing & Sales and a key member of the Marketing and Sales senior leadership team, the Strategic Marketing Manager has responsibility for developing and effectively implementing Tatua's strategic marketing plan, at both the product brand and corporate brand levels. The role has responsibility for a team of three. In the role you will be responsible for: Developing and implementing an overarching strategic marketing framework for the Tatua organisation. Collaborating and aligning across Marketing & Sales, in particular with our four commercial business units and three off-shore subsidiary companies, to develop and implement a strategic multi-channel marketing plan. Overseeing branding (including product artwork) and cross-channel promotional activities, as well as providing clear direction and management of social media activity for our consumer business and corporate brand. Preparing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring a clear understanding and delivery of ROI. Championing the use and evolution of Tatua's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Day-to-day leadership, management, and ongoing development of three direct reports. We are seeking applicants who: Have developed marketing and commercial acumen with a track record of achievement. Excellent team leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to develop people and build effective teams. Ability to both think strategically and tactically, and act to make it happen. Strong background in marketing, including B2B and/or technical marketing experience. P&L management experience with a proven ability to manage and control the commercial drivers of the business. Having a relevant commercial tertiary qualification is required. Experience within a dairy or food manufacturing environment would be an advantage, along with international experience in key markets – including China, Japan, Europe, USA, and SEA.
