Our Venue and Events Team plays a crucial role in achieving our strategic goals, and we are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Strategic Events and Sponsorship Manager to join our team.Reporting to the Head of Venue and Events, the Strategic Events and Sponsorship Manager will be the driving force behind our event strategy and sponsorship initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and executing high-impact events that align with our business objectives while forging and maintaining valuable sponsorship partnerships. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility, engaging key stakeholders, and delivering exceptional experiences that showcase the distinctive qualities of Selwyn and support community initiatives.As the Strategic Events and Sponsorship Manager, you'll also be responsible for:Managing the strategic plan and delivery of major events such as the Selwyn AwardsEnsuring spaces are appropriately activated by securing events and aligning sponsorsBuilding relationships with key stakeholdersAbout you:As the Strategic Events and Sponsorship Manager, you'll be a seasoned professional with over 3 years of experience in events management, sponsorship/funding, and budget management. Your background will include experience in a commercial environment, leading projects with a strong commercial acumen, ensuring that initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver financial success.You will understand the importance of collaboration with key departments such as marketing and communications teams to ensure cohesive activity.As a team player, you'll recognize the importance of collaboration and communicating clearly and appropriately across a range of audiences, adapting your style to meet diverse needs.
