Employing over 1200 staff in 11 locations, C3Limited is a market leader in New Zealand's port-related product and cargohandling, adding value to our clients' businesses by providing solutions totheir transport and logistics needs.We are looking to top up our pool of straddle drivers with experienced drivers of port straddle cranes who have a minimum of two years local or overseas experience.Our straddle drivers operate straddle cranes that stack and move shipping containers at the Sulphur Point Container Terminal, which is part of the Port of Tauranga.This is a permanent position with a monthly minimum hour's guarantee, equivalent to 40 hours per week.
The starting pay rate for Straddle Crane Operators is between $30.00 - $34.00 per hour, with higher rates applicable once verified as fully competent.Applicants must be flexible with their availability and able to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as this operation runs 24/7 with shifts generally between 6-12 hours long.
