At APL Manufacturing, we're looking for a dedicated Stores Supervisor to drive performance in our warehouse operations and inventory management.
This hands-on role is essential for ensuring we meet our commitments to Health and Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Develop and implement strategies that align with our ERP capabilities, maintaining optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor store staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging effective performance.Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping of materials and finished products, ensuring accurate inventory records.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products.Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyse inventory and logistics data, developing metrics to enhance operations and drive improvements.Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.What You Bring: Experience: 5+ years in supply chain operations, logistics, or a related field, with a strong background in ERP systems (preferably SAP).Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams.Attention to Detail: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of stock control and accuracy.Analytical Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Tech Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Access, with knowledge of supply chain best practices.Why Work for Us?
