The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations.
Our purpose is providing affordable and sustainable energy for Far North consumers, which we are achieving by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.
This role will support the Supply Chain and Inventory Supervisors with the administration and management of the supply chain and inventory control activities at all store's locations.
Assisting with effective operation of the stores to meet the inventory requirement of Top Energy and actioning all inventory transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
This position reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor and is based at our Puketona Depot.
Key areas of focus will be: Processing Requests for Service and Requests for Information and, ensuring that the relevant action is taken.
Assist with sourcing and purchasing within best price practices.
Sourcing and maintaining PPE register and PPE stock holding.
Manage Asset Labelling systems.
Support in cyclic, half yearly and year end stocktakes including following up all variations between physical count and computer records.
Maintaining accurate inventory records including current price data, accurate computer inventory levels and correct descriptions.
Support in managing the customs clearance, duties and transport to site with nominated customs clearance and transport company.
Arrange maintenance repairs as requested by Plant Users.
Provide back-up support to the Fleet position in the running of the Group Fleet.
Minute taking, assisting with report production.
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant qualification or at least 2-3 years' experience in an administrative role with an intermediate level of experience in MS Office.
It is essential to hold a current NZ Drivers licence, as well as a Forklift License & OSH Certification.
Proven experience working in a fast paced, challenging and customer focused environment, as well as experience using Computerized Inventory and Purchasing and SAP is preferred.
Cost, budget, and inventory management knowledge would be an added advantage.
