Storeperson - Timber Yard

Keith Hay Homes is one of New Zealand's trusted new home builders since 1938 and has designed and constructed a wide range of affordable houses and commercial buildings.
We run our own building merchant company and are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join the team at our distribution warehouse in Mt Roskill.
We distribute house lots of material to our Branches around the North Island.
Tasks include but are not limited to; packing and despatch (eg.
splitting and re-packaging bulk products), inwards/outwards goods and stock management.
Essential attributes we require: Reliable and enthusiastic Pays attention to detailPhysically fit (some heavy lifting is required)Good people & communication skillsClean and Full Class 1 drivers licenseForklift licenseTeam player but has the ability to work with some autonomy Eligible to work within NZ  Further skills/attributes that would be advantageous (but not a must) to have: Building product knowledge, particularly timberPrevious store and merchant experienceHT license whether Class 2 and or 4 would be a bonus Interviews of suitable candidates will be conducted as we receive them with the view to appoint someone to start as soon as possible.
