As a Warehouse Store Person, you will play a crucial role in the daily activities of inwards, picking, and distribution functions in our warehouse. Your primary focus will be to ensure customer expectations are met by accurately picking, checking, assembling and dispatching of items for stock, sale, or alterations. In addition, maintaining precise stock control and issuing items to various departments within the company. The role also involves identifying and implementing continuous improvement programs to enhance warehouse efficiency.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
You will play a key role in achieving daily dispatches on time, container devanning, and ensuring systematic checks are completed promptly. Collaborate with your supervisor/manager to establish and implement improvements within the warehouse operations.
Inwards goods, operations, and outwards goods daily
Assist in maintaining DIFOT>98%, Inventory Record Accuracy > 99%, and other key performance indicators
Identify financial implications related to warehousing/logistics
Support the Logistics Manager/warehouse team, prioritizing inbound/outbound orders
Ensure accuracy in table cutting and roll checks
Meet key timetables for Central Warehouse operations
Undertake other related activities as required
Holding a forklift license is advantageous, but not necessary as full training will be provided.
