Storeperson

PGG Wrightson Water has over 30 years of experience in the design, construction and maintenance of irrigation systems offering a 'full service package' to farmers and horticulturalists throughout New Zealand. An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join the Water team as a Storeperson based in Rangiora.
For this diverse role, we are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable person to assist in the day-to-day running of our busy irrigation store. The successful applicant will be required to carry out various jobs within the store environment, including:
Picking/packing partsManaging inwards/outwards goodsMaintaining stock control and inventory accuracyIdentifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products and servicesProcessing sales and product requestsOther general store dutiesSkills and Experience High energy, physically fit and keen to get stuck in as requiredPrevious customer service experience in a retail/warehouse environmentPrevious experience in warehousing and/or store operationsFull clean NZ driver's licence and current forklift licenceDemonstrable strong oral and written communication skillsSound work ethic and a good level of personal presentationExperience with inventory controls and systems would be an advantageResilient personality and able to 'hold their own' in a dynamic team environmentYour ability to communicate with our wide range of customers, coupled with your experience in a warehouse environment, will see you excel in this role.
