Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) LSG Sky Chefs is a catering company operating throughout New Zealand.
We operate a service to retail outlets nationally and airlines departing from Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown Airport.
Our Auckland team is responsible for preparing meals, as well as other catering supplies, which are then delivered and loaded onto the aircraft.
Role Overview The role of Store person is responsible for receiving inwards goods/deliveries, ensuring a steady supply of food and equipment items to the production area, picking and packing goods, and maintaining documentation.
Forklift license is preferable; alternatively, we will support you with this.
As an Inventory Controller , the focus will be to coordinate and control the inventory flow to our customers.
You will be responsible for maintaining the accurate management of our Inventory in the Warehouse/Food Stores department.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day-to-day operation of the department.
Experience in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment would be great, but what we really value is your reliability, enthusiasm, and the ability to work shifts.
What You Need: Experience including inwards goods, inventory control, order picking, and receiving is an advantage; Good working knowledge of SAP system and intermediate level of Excel and Word required to maintain records; Delivery times adherence/follow-up; Problem solver with a can-do attitude; Proven ability to work unsupervised; Forklift driving experience and license is an advantage; Ability to work shift hours and weekends on a 5-day roster.
