Amier Home, the new design and furniture store that is about to open its doors in Mount Maunganui, is looking for a full-time store sales manager.
Be part of a small team that is creating a business from scratch - an opportunity to learn about the process of launching a business and be part of a growing team. You will never get bored doing mechanical work every day since we are looking for someone that is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get the job done. Responsibilities include organising shipping, answering emails with suppliers, maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store, creating social media content, and greeting customers in-store.

Amier Home primarily focuses on Mid-century modern design furniture and art pieces, such as paintings, ceramics, lighting, and books. The business is very new; hence your voice, opinion, and ideas will be highly valued. The vision of Amier is to create an experience for customers when they come to the shop to purchase new art and furniture, and for that, we need someone to help provide exceptional customer service that is committed to adding value to the role.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate should have proven sales experience and be passionate about art and interior design. We are looking for someone with a happy and easy-going personality who can understand the needs of the business and go one step ahead.
Since it is a very new and small team, we are looking for a person who is able to multitask and do whatever the business requires, someone that is:
Organised and has high attention to detail.
Able to learn the details of the products in the store and share this knowledge with clients to drive sales.
Has some social media and SEO knowledge to keep the digital ads running and the audience engaged.
Offering new and fresh ideas for media content, keeping an eye on the analytics.
This is a full-time job (40h/week) from Tuesday to Saturday. As with any retail store, our trading hours are 9:30 am to 6:30 pm but require some flexibility to suit business needs.
