Service Foods Wellington branch is looking for a reliable Storeperson to pick & pack customer orders during the busy night shift.
Location: 19 William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt, Wellington
Fixed-time role from 22 November to 15 February
Shift timings: Sunday to Friday - 8.00 pm to 4.30 am (approx)
The job:
In this job, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders according to customer orders, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
Accurately Pick & pack orders
Enter orders in the system
Wrap pallets and assist in loading and dispatching
Assist with handling stocks and restocking
Ensure product is stored safely at all times
Lift heavy products up to 20 kgs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with general warehouse functions
The candidate:
This is a physically demanding role requires someone with a good degree of strength, that can keep up with our fast-paced environment. You will be someone with:
Some Pick Pack/Warehouse work experience (ideal)
Should be able to work in Dry, Chiller and Freezer (wherever necessary)
Reasonably good literacy and numeracy skills
Confidence, flexibility and attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Should pass MOJ & ACC checks
Should have own transport with Class 1 license
Relevant work experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
Physically strong and fit; should be able to lift heavy objects.
Commitment to work night shifts
A great attitude towards work and be a fast learner.
A team player with time management
