The Casual Store person will assemble finished goods for sale, receive, store and despatch goods according to company policy and procedures.
Locations – Glenfield and Manukau; you need to be able to go to either site when requested.
The warehouses operate a variety of weekday shifts, up to 20 hours per week over the two sites with the opportunity for more hours when requested.
This is a casual role – Weekly hours are flexible with shift times of 9am to 2.30pm, 4pm or 7:00pm based in Glenfield and 7am to 3.30pm or 9am to 5.30pm based in Manukau.
You will be required to have a pair of steel cap safety boots to work on this site.
The Impact You'll Make
Loading and unloading of parts and consumables for inbound and outbound freight.
Pick, pack and despatch freight.
As part of the Kitting team, you will ensure goods are packed correctly.
Receive and check inventory.
Undertaking regular stock takes and stock levels.
Organising/consolidating packages for delivery.
High accuracy picking of orders.
Issuing, returning and data entering of stock within the Inventory Management System.
Process routine paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Checking and receipting goods in a timely and efficient manner.
General Warehouse duties in a clean environment.
Maintain equipment and perform safety and maintenance checks.
About you
Be considered a proactive and self-motivated person with problem solving ability.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Ability to ensure company policy is complied with in all aspects of the business to ensure internal practices are followed.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a clear and professional manner.
Physical fitness necessary; repetitive manual handling of up to 20kg.
Possess sound literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong time management skills.
Communicating with versatility and effectiveness.
Strategic thinking and problem solving.
