We are looking for a suitable Store Manager for our Katikati store – you will be solely managing the store with other staff reporting to and supporting you in your role.
You will need to have an excellent work ethic and will be prepared to have some early mornings and late nights.
Ideally, you will be able to use your knowledge, skills and experience to research new ideas about how we can grow and expand our business.
You will have sole responsibility for running the operations of the store.
Daily Tasks Involved in the role: Duties are Dealing with suppliers, hiring, training and supervision of staff, providing excellent customer service, marketing and promoting the store, maintaining quality standards, budgeting, ordering and maintaining stock and creating policies for the store.
We are looking for a mature staff member who are able to work on their own without any supervision and minimal training.
They must be able to communicate to a diverse range of people and be able to maintain professional customer service in any circumstance.
As you will need to manage the operations of the store on your own, we require the candidate to be able demonstrate previous similar management experience.
A Diploma level qualification in business/management/retail or at least 2 years of relevant work experience to enable you to complete the tasks of the role is also required.
Due to the nature of the position, you may be subject to drug testing prior to the provision of an Offer of Employment.
You must also be able to pass a police check if needed as you will also be responsible for the financial management of the store as well as stock management.
We are looking at a guaranteed 30 hours per week for this position.
The minimum payrate will be $29.66 per hour and the maximum payrate will be $35 per hour.
