We're looking for a hands-on Store Manager to lead a dynamic team in a customer-focused retail environment. About The Role
Drive the team to achieve sales targets.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Maintain store operations.
Build strong relationships with customers, including site visits.
Monday - Friday roster 47.5 hours weekly.
Limited use vehicle included.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of 5 to achieve sales and performance targets.
Build and maintain relationships with customers. Customer base is predominantly within the farming industry.
Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage stock, including stocktakes, layout, and product displays.
Ensure the health and safety of all workers on site.
Handle financial management tasks.
Drive the company culture and ensure the team aligns with the company's values and strategies.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a sales environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and performance manage a team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Knowledge of the rural sector or experience in related industries (timber, agriculture, hardware) is preferred.
A full driver's license.
Physical fitness appropriate for handling outdoor timber products.
