Store Manager - Luxury Shoe Brands

A rare opportunity has arisen to become the next store manager for this beautiful store located in the heart of Christchurch City. This is your chance to lead a close-knit team while developing your own career and learning the inner workings of a small business. Reporting to the Company Director and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store and sales team, along with involvement in product sourcing, brand, and market research. Experience in retail management is preferred; however, we are open to passionate people looking to move to the retail industry with different backgrounds and experience. There is also the opportunity to assist with international and national buying. In this role, you will be: Leading and coaching the team, encouraging collaboration and personal development. Creating genuine connections with loyal customers of the brand. Driving in-store operational excellence with a hands-on approach. Ensuring all visual merchandise is maintained to a high standard. As the successful candidate, you will: Be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with initiative and commitment to driving overall store performance. Have the ability to create a motivational and inspirational environment for your team. Have a keen eye for fashion, stocked brands, and visual merchandising. Have a passion for exceptional customer service and a drive to grow a loyal and enduring customer base. Support the training, recruitment, and development of staff. Take care of the day-to-day running of the store, including stock, administration duties, and assisting the online store.
