Your key tasks include: Manage all aspects of product ordering, including selection and inventory levels, ensuring the stock weight of the store is sufficient and daily ordering levels are maintained within acceptable limits; Develop, implement and improve purchasing strategies to ensure product availability whilst collaborating with suppliers and vendors for special offers and product launches; Plan and execute marketing strategies, including in-store promotions, events, and advertising campaigns to attract customers and boost sales. Determine prices according to the market trends, costs considerations, and marketing policies; Ensure customer services are provided in accordance with company standard; Handle customer inquiries, complaints and returns effectively; Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and expense control to achieve the store's financial goals; Provide financial insights to support business decisions, including pricing and cost management; Oversee financial administration, including accounting systems, procurement processes, and asset management; Ensure all stock ordering, paperwork, rosters, cashups, bankings and stocktakes are completed correctly; Recruit, train, and manage staff to operate the store within the company operating guidelines and to the level required by the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act; Ensure strict adherence to regulations regarding the sale of alcohol and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at all times; Work as part of the overall company management team along with the owners and other store managers. We need someone who: Has an LCQ and Manager's Certificate; A diploma or above qualification OR at least 3 years of relevant work experience; The ability to work flexible hours, including late nights & weekends; Has good communication skills and friendly attitude; Is physically fit and able to lift reasonably heavy items; What we offer: A permanent full-time employment with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week; Flexible work according to a roaster from Monday to Sunday; A supportive friendly team and work environment; Ongoing product knowledge and customer service training; Potential opportunity for future advancement within the group; Please only apply if you have a legal right to work in New Zealand, have no criminal convictions and have a valid driving license.
