Job Title: Store Manager
Work hours: You will be required to work for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Job Requirements: Personal appearance, self-motivation, reliability, and excellent customer service are all essential.
Retail experience and references are required.
Over and above everything, we are looking for a bubbly, fun, people-person!
Responsibilities: Day-to-day running of the store.
Main duties will include:
Opening and closing store
Cashing up at the end of the day
Organizing staff rosters
Stock ordering, unloading, and stock management
Determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards
Fortnightly consolidation of timesheets
Fortnightly banking
Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices
Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
Online/email communications with customers
Organizing and posting regular social media posts (including taking photos in-store for posts)
Good spelling and use of grammar
Excellent, professional, and humorous front-of-house customer interactions
Organizing the cleaning roster
Controlling selection, training, supervision of staff and hiring
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Regular, direct communication and reporting to owners
Experience:
At least three years of relevant experience required OR have a degree or qualification in management or equivalent
LCQ is preferred but not essential as we will help you get this qualification and duty manager certificate from the council
