Role Overview:
As a Store Manager at Aariv Trading Limited, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of one of our takeaway food outlets. This is a hands-on role where you'll manage staff, ensure top-notch customer service, maintain operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high food quality standards
Manage inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely stock replenishment
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently
Implement strategies to increase sales and manage store profitability
Prepare rosters and manage staffing levels according to business needs
Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation
Collaborate with senior management to meet operational and financial targets
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and help drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
NZQF Diploma or equivalent OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Experience with inventory management, ordering, and stock control
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A valid New Zealand work visa or residency
